17th Anniversary Milestone
Celebrates Dynamic Growth by Expanding in Key Metro Areas
June 2, 2015—LANSDALE, PENNSYLVANIA— Integrated Service Solutions, Inc. (the “Company) announced today they are expanding their reach nationwide by providing customers with on-site 17025 accredited pipette calibrations.
As an industry-leading third party service provider, the Company has achieved significant sales growth and is actively developing its nationwide presence to support new business.
“Providing nationwide on-site pipette calibrations coincides with the company’s 17th year in business,” said Joe Uricchio, President and CEO. “Having this capability demonstrates our technical competence and gives our clients a clear differentiator in their service provider. Providing calibration and pipette preventive maintenance services across the U.S. is quite complex. There is a wide variety of pipette manufacturers and models. To support these options properly, you need to have the trained personnel, enough test equipment and the standard operating procedures in place. Our infrastructure and commitment to customer satisfaction allows us to make this significant announcement.”
While the field of pipette calibration service providers can be crowded, Integrated Service Solutions provides their growing customer base with key differentiators beyond price.
Since 2007, the Company has invested in annual 17025 audits by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA), the most rigorous internationally-recognized accreditation body. A2LA accreditation, and their partnership with the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), provides laboratories with the assurance that the company calibrating their pipettes has passed strict rules in quality and proficiency testing. In addition, it makes certain that the technicians performing the calibrations are properly trained and that the calibration documentation will support an FDA audit.
“Integrated Service Solutions is constantly evolving to serve the needs of our customers, said Catherine Peetros,” Director of Operations and Business Development. Research demonstrated that customers want and need the level of pipette calibration services that we are providing. And many of them want that service on-site. Whether customer’s require an A2LA 17025 accredited calibration, ISO 8655 regulatory compliance, manufacturer’s specs or want to follow our SOP’s, we can easily accommodate their requirements.”

In addition to this major announcement, Integrated Service Solutions has been at the forefront of embracing the use of new technologies. They lead the way in paperless documents. Eight years ago, the Company redefined the way calibration reports were prepared. An electronic calibration database, GenCal I®, was developed internally by the IT team at Integrated Service Solutions. Expanding on that success, a major upgrade was made to the software and re-launched as Gen Cal II® earlier this year. This validated software includes smart phone apps and easy access for customers to retrieve their calibration records via mobile devices so they are always audit ready.
“Nationwide on-site pipette calibrations is a welcomed expansion to our business. It provides FDA-regulated businesses with added value and allows us to build long-term relationships with customers throughout the U.S.,” added Uricchio.
