Announcing several promotions within the organization.

Integrated Service Solutions, Inc.

July 1, 2014 – Integrated Service Solutions, Inc. announced today several promotions within the organization.

Joseph Taylor has been promoted to Manager, Metrology Lab; Roberto Rodriguez has been promoted to Supervisor, Process Instrumentation ISA Level III; Daniel Wise has been promoted to Field Services Specialist, Senior.

“Joe, Roberto and Dan demonstrate a commitment in service and quality that enable us to meet the needs of our customers quickly and efficiently,” commented Joseph Uricchio, President and CEO. “They each represent significant growth areas of our company and help us to navigate the complexities of regulated businesses. “

Joe Taylor joined the company in 2012. Prior to joining Integrated Service Solutions, Inc., Joe managed the day-to-day operations of a regional Metrology lab for a national company. His responsibilities included organizing the technical staff, scheduling and providing technical support. His promotion to Manager, Metrology Lab entails being the SME (subject matter expert) on test equipment calibrations, prioritizing and assigning resources and acting as the liaison for customer audits. Joe holds a Bachelor’s Degree, Management from Saint Joseph’s University.

Roberto Rodriguez joined Integrated Service Solutions, Inc. in 2013 and quickly embraced the role of mentoring and training junior field service technicians. Roberto’s background includes working for a global health-care company as a Senior Calibration Engineer where he was responsible for calibrating and servicing a wide variety of process control instrumentation. During his time there he gained increasing levels of experience and received certification as an ISA Level III Certified Control Systems Technician. In his newly expanded role, Roberto will be responsible for providing in-depth training on test equipment and instrumentation to field service technicians. He will work closely with other senior management to ensure the development of training curriculum.

Daniel Wise joined the company in 2009 as Field Services Specialist, Jr. His background includes an apprenticeship at a Philadelphia refinery where he learned installation and repair of large pipe mechanical systems. Throughout his professional career, he has taken on increasing roles of responsibility. With his promotion, Dan will become an integral part of the field service team by applying his analytical training and metrology background in support of larger customer contracts that require the ability to deliver varying degrees of technical expertise. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science, Chemistry, Biology from West Chester University.

Successful completion of the ISO 9001:2008 surveillance audit

Integrated Service Solutions Building Spring 2014

May 1, 2014— Announcing today, the successful completion of the ISO 9001:2008 surveillance audit at Integrated Service Solutions, Inc. (the “Company”).

The audit, conducted by an independent registrar from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) demonstrates that Integrated Service Solutions has a robust and mature quality management system. Key attributes of ISO focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. These characteristics define the organizational structure of Integrated Service Solutions.

Joseph Uricchio, President/CEO said, “our commitment to service excellence is demonstrated by our annual ISO audits and it assures our customers that they receive the very best in quality and service from our company.”

Numerous infrastructure improvements were made in the past year to meet business challenges, enhance service to customers, improve operations and enhance communication with field personnel. Those include:

  • Launch of the Certificate Management System (CMS). This electronic database provides customers easy access to their calibration records via a password protected, encrypted web site.
  • Expansion of the field service team that includes an ISA Level III trained technician as well as developing a training program to mentor junior technicians.
  • Added additional departmental resources such as a Quality Assurance Manager, another customer service administrator and a software developer.
  • Reinvested in test equipment including the purchase of the SURETEST Torque Calibration system. This instrument expands the Company’s torque calibration capabilities for torque wrenches and screwdrivers.
  • Launched Live Chat on the Company web site for quicker, personalized customer service.
  • Developed a company Intranet as a means for immediate communication to all employees.

May marks the Company’s 16th year in business. This latest accomplishment of the annual ISO audit verifies the entire company is committed to service excellence.

Torque Calibration Capabilities

April 1, 2014 — Announcing the SURETEST Torque Calibration system, a laboratory grade instrument, expanding the A2LA accredited torque calibration capabilities for torque wrenches and screwdrivers at Integrated Service Solutions, Inc.

Integrated Service Solutions, Inc. (the “Company), is an ISO 9001:2008 registered company with an A2LA 17025 accreditation to perform specific calibration tasks, the Company regularly provides their nationwide customer base with continuous quality improvements. As a result, Integrated Service Solutions made the investment in a laboratory grade instrument that calibrates torque equipment from 4 In. Lbs. up to 600 Ft. Lbs. It has an accuracy of +/- .25% of indicated value and is individually serialized with a matching certificate of calibration traceable to N.I.S.T.

Joseph Uricchio, President/CEO said, “increasing customer demand necessitated that we make the investment in equipment that allows us to calibrate a wider range of torque equipment.”Torque calibrations are performed either on-site or in the Company’s climate-controlled Metrology Lab by technicians with advanced knowledge and skill levels. All torque tools are inspected and cleaned before being calibrated.

Electronic calibration documents include complete As Found and As Left data at no additional charge. In addition, any findings such as if the instrument had to be adjusted to pass calibration are noted in the comments section of the report. To complement the electronic documentation, all calibration stickers are bar coded. These durable, thermal printed labels eliminate human error, ensure data accuracy and are easy to read.
