Celebrating 16 Years in Business

June 2, 2014 — 16 years ago, Integrated Service Solutions opened its doors in a home-based office pioneering the idea of a single source solution for life science companies. Today the company is headquartered in a 20,000 sq. ft. modern facility, employs sixty full-time professionals and services more than 525 companies throughout the U.S.A., Puerto Rico and Barbados.

In 16 years, the Company has grown from its core business base of providing calibration and equipment maintenance services to leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to a roster of regulated businesses such as cosmetics, food and beverage and nutraceuticals. Along the way, they have earned the registrations necessary to service these industries including ISO 9001:2008 and A2LA 17025.

Integrated Service Solutions is a company on the move and constantly looking for ways to refine processes, streamline procedures and pass along cost savings to customers. The company championed the idea of going paperless nearly a decade ago by switching all of their calibration records to electronic documents that are 21 CFR Part 11 Compliant. Plus, they added bar coding to their calibration labels allowing for quick and easy record retrieval.

The company has also championed value added services to their customers including the roll out of their Certificate Management System (CMS) earlier this year. This proprietary application provides customers with easy access to their electronic calibration documents using their desktop computer or mobile devices. In addition, the company also introduced Live Chat on their web site to ensure a fast speed of response to customer inquiries.

Announcing Expansion of Quality Assurance Team

March 26, 2014— Announcing the expansion of Quality Assurance Team, adding Lisa Myles, Manager, Quality Assurance, to its quality team bringing the total to nine.

Integrated Service Solutions, Inc. (the “Company) announced today the hiring of Lisa Myles, Manager, Quality Assurance.

In response to the increase in the number of customer audits and the rapid expansion of customers requiring quality support, the Company recruited and hired a tenured quality professional to manage and execute the Company’s quality system programs. This expands the quality staff to nine (9).

As an ISO 9001:2008 registered company with an A2LA 17025 accreditation to perform specific calibration tasks, the company has an obligation to its nationwide customer base for continuous quality improvements. As a result, Integrated Service Solutions saw an immediate need to bring on board another dedicated resource.

Joseph Uricchio, President/CEO said, “Lisa brings more than 12 years of experience including A2LA 17025 audit knowledge and training programs management. Her background in international compliance for regulated industries is a perfect match to our customer base. We are excited to have Lisa on our team not only as a complement to the quality professionals and administrators on our staff, but also for the additional resources she will provide to ensure timely follow-up to customer audits, CAPA resolution and to enrich our training management system.”

Lisa’s experience includes the start-up and accreditation for a Pennsylvania-based contract testing laboratory. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh and is a Certified Quality Auditor from ASQ.

Announcing New Hires for 2014

January 6, 2014— Integrated Service Solutions, Inc. announced today that Angela Fitzgerald and Jericke Adarayan have joined the company.

The appointment of Angela expands the customer service team to seven support administrators and the addition of Jericke to the IT group strengthens their resources to a total of four.

December 13, 2013— The end of one year and the beginning of a New Year is a time to reflect and to be excited about the future.

Integrated Service Solutions has had a lot to celebrate in 2013.

  • Recruited a talented Director of Analytical Services and a Supervisor of Emerging Markets to augment our team of analytical specialists
  • Hired a gifted ISA Level III technician who has brought in depth experience as well as outstanding customer service skills to our service team
  • Developed a junior technician training program
  • Designed encrypted sites where customers can view and download their electronic calibration reports
  • Instituted an employee recognition and rewards program
  • Launched a new web site with live chat
  • Welcomed a record number of customer visits, tours and audits at our facility
